A recent article from Affordable Schools, an online publication comparing US colleges and universities, ranked Adams State University (ASU) fourth in the state for “Most Affordable Bachelor’s Degree Colleges in Colorado.” The top three were Colorado Mountain College, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and Colorado Heights University.
However, ASU ranked as having the lowest four-year graduation rate among these ten schools, with a rate of 21%. The most affordable school, Colorado Heights University in Denver, graduated 59% of its students within four years.
Only ASU and Colorado State University-Pueblo earned A+ ratings on their cost of living score. University of Northern Colorado came in third for cost of living with an A grade.
