Students for Action at Adams sponsored a screening of the documentary
“Playing Columbine” at Adams State University after former faculty member Danny Ledonne was banned from campus over concerns for campus safety. This was in part because, ten years earlier, he created the videogame “Super Columbine Massacre RPG!” according to ASU police chief Paul Grohowski.
Ledonne was asked about why he was banned from campus, the threats to academic freedom and due process inherent to the proposed Persona Non Grata policy, and the need for students, faculty and staff at ASU to organize around common interests and concerns. About 75 people were in attendance.
